The Storm: Untitled 5,

Acrylic on cardboard 70.0 × 50.0 cm

This painting is part of a wider collection in which Rashed delves into the world of “Sims”, exploring how video games simulate real life. A man in a wheelchair steers himself away or emerges from a cloud of abstract colour. The figure is isolated from reality and catapulted into this depiction of chaos.
