The Storm: Untitled 12,

Acrylic on cardboard 70.0 × 50.0 cm

This painting is part of a wider collection in which Rashed delves into the world of “Sims”, exploring how video games simulate real life. A child occupies a playground toy isolated from the expected scene and instead surrounded by a mass of abstract colour, a sense of chaos elicited in the haphazard application of paint.
